Privacy Policy

The short version

The FlipCheck app is built so we cannot see your data. There are no accounts, no trackers inside the app, and no FlipCheck server that receives your inventory, prices or notes. This marketing website is separate and does carry one advertising pixel, described under "This website" below.

What the app stores, and where

Everything you enter · inventory, prices, notes, settings · is stored in your own browser's local storage on your own device. It is never transmitted to us. Full IMEI numbers are never saved; only the last four digits are kept in your log.

Optional connections you control

The daily price update fetches a public price file from the app's host. No personal data is sent.
IMEI registry checks and price comps open third-party sites (stolenphonechecker.org, swappa.com, ebay.com) · their privacy policies apply there.
If you add your own eBay or Anthropic API keys, they are stored only on your device and used only to call those services directly.

This website

This site is a static page hosted on Netlify, which may collect standard server logs (IP address, user agent) for security and delivery. Payments are processed entirely by Stripe; we never see or store card details.

These marketing pages load the TikTok Pixel so we can measure which TikTok ads lead to a sale. It sets cookies and sends TikTok your IP address, browser and device information, the pages you view here, and whether you clicked a buy button or reached a download page, along with the price of the plan. We do not send TikTok your name, email or anything you enter into the app. TikTok's handling of that data is covered by the TikTok Privacy Policy. To opt out, use your browser's tracker blocking or "do not sell or share my personal information" controls, or block analytics.tiktok.com. The pixel runs on these marketing pages only · never inside the FlipCheck app itself.
